I started with some bananas way past their prime:
And made banana bread:
Then I made homemade granola using oats, honey, and peanuts:
I finished with homemade Larabars!! I made my version of chocolate chip Larabars using chocolate chips, dates, and peanuts.
They turned out awesome!! (On Sunday I tried making Cashew Cookie Larabars--Stephen's favorite flavor of Larabar-- with dates and cashews.)
All in all it was a perfect Saturday. I spent time in the kitchen and spent time watching girly movies.

Wow, that's a lot of cooking and it all looks so good and healthy! Glad you had a great day, sometimes chillin at home with movies and some fun in the kitchen is what we need.
Yum! That food looks great.
Also wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your blog. I love running (even though I'm currently just getting back into it after a few months off due to an injury) but I love your enthusiasm. Every time I read one of your run posts it makes me want to hit the pavement.
That sounds like an awesome day! I need one of those.
You need to post your recipes for the homemade larabars. :)
