Yea! It's Humpday!

So glad it's Wednesday. I just haven't been "feeling" work lately, actually I haven't "felt" work in a couple of years...I've got to get out of here! Speaking of exit plans, I found out yesterday that I did not get into the school where I interviewed at last week. I was a little disappointed but to be honest, that's what I was expecting so I can't say I'm surprised. I was hoping for a different outcome but wasn't expecting it (know what I'm trying to say?).

Yesterday I went for a 5.5 mile run and it was fantastic! I'm so addicted to running, it's great! I was planning on going again today but I'm also thinking about leaving work early (like in an hour) and getting in a bike ride instead. It's so gorgeous outside. Plus I need to pick up my new glasses at the eye doctors and I'd like to go to Trader Joe's and just browse. When Stephen and I go together, he just wants to go in and out...no real looking around which is good for the pocketbook but disappointing for my curiousity. Plus I can take my work home with me and work from home with the patio door open and enjoy the sun! Alright, it's decided...I'm leaving early to do all the above things!!

Food yesterday was good. Dinner was a bit weird...not the actual food but the way we ate. We decided to have pork chops and corn on the grill and a salad. Well, our grill is so tiny that it took forever to cook the chops and corn. We sliced up the pork chops so they would cook faster. We ate our salads around 6 and starting at about 6:30 we ate a piece of pork chop every few minutes. They all got done at different times. We didn't finish eating until almost 7:15! That's definitely one way to eat slower...cook your food so it's all done at different times and you're forced to slow down!

Talk to you all later!!

We had a night like that recently - where we ate the veg, waited for the meat, ate the meat, then waited for the potatos and then ate them!

5.5 miles - you are totally a running superstar!

I love nights like that! I find I am fuller SO much faster because I have breaks in between eating...too bad I wouldn't just learn to eat slower!!

Good call on heading out early! Sounds like you are going to have a fantastic day!

Sorry to hear about your school!!! I hope you get some work things figured out! It sucks when you don't "feel" your job!!!

Thats a bummer about not getting into the school, but I bet it just means you have better options in the future :-)

I am also getting addicted to running. Never thought that would happen. haha
